Derek is a 4th generation Coloradoan, and even though he traveled extensively as a "military brat" as a young child, he has called Colorado, specifically the Pikes Peak Region, home and has lived here exclusively since the mid-1980s. He started his real estate career with his wife, Mariana, in 2001 and has enjoyed a full-time career helping people buy and sell homes and navigate the home buying/selling process, ever since. Derek has been a top 5% producing Realtor® in the region for almost 2 decades and takes great pride in his relationship with his clients as well as with the other professionals in the business. Currently, he helps run the Artisan Group as well as is an owner and in a leadership and mentor position with the Keller Williams Premier Realty office.
When he is not helping home buyers and sellers realize their real estate goals (and dreams) Derek enjoys traveling with his family (wife and 2 grown sons), road-tripping and hiking throughout Colorado, and playing with his dogs. He is also an avid MMA fan and loves attending live events whenever possible.
